Thank you for visiting Life Through Glass. My name is Kevin Smith, and this website is a snapshot of my photographic portfolio captured over a long period of time at different stages of my life whilst working full time as a graphic designer.
I have spent many hours looking at life through glass trying to capture the moment, the memory, the scene, the emotion, the atmosphere. Sometimes with success, and sometimes not. But always learning, always observing and always trying to improve.
My hope is that you enjoy looking through these photographs as much as I have in continuing to capture them, and that it causes you to respond in some way. To be inspired to pick up a camera and capture your own experiences of life, or to critique my work and say ‘I can do better than that’, or to simply skim through the photos and provoke an emotion or thought that has some small impact.
